HISTORY OF OUR SUMMER CAMP!

For 47 years the tradition of our summer camp relays on our passion to innovate. Our founder and a member of the Order of Canada, Mr. Yvan Dubois, always insisted our programs be based on the Olympic ideal; our team is delighted to continue and also build on his undertakings.

Philosophy of our camp

To combine material, physical and human resources in an environment conducive to helping young people become world-class citizens and perhaps spurring future leaders into action. This goal is achieved by broadening their vision of the world and understanding of cultures, by improving their health, their knowledge, their language skills through sports and cultural activities. We are convinced that our sports camp contributes to define the personnality of the individuals participating in our programs.

Mission of our summer camp

To be the leaders in summer vacation centers, be it sleepover camps or day camps, by our contribution towards the integral and optimal development of children by calling on the best in human values.

Practical objectives

To encourage : adaptability, personal independence, self-assertion and self-confidence.
To increase the consciousness and the fun related to physical activities leading to a more healthy living style.
To learn to live in harmony with the environment and to become more responsible to protect it.
To promote : excellence, the desire to learn a second or third language, fraternity, international peace, respect for authority and others as well as self-respect and the yearning to surpass oneself.
To take chances in a safe way and to overcome new challenges leading to benefit from more opportunities.
